I see a lot of good gear in your list, but except for a fishing pole, I don't see any any mention of survival food, potable water, or even filtration/water purification tablets. I used to always have drinking water and MRE's packed. Great to have if you get stuck in a snow bank or the desert for a few days.

While I don't have a lot of the stuff on the list, one really good thing to carry is a VS-17 panel. It's a military high-visibility panel/flag. Kind of florescent pink/orange and is used as a marker for aerial spotting of a location. Having a Super White truck, and getting stuck in the snow is not easy to spot from the air. Yeah, I know I'm in Texas, but hopefully not for ever.

I'd like to see your radio setup.

Define HF go box for me. I'm intrigued (seriously)

I've had a couple but I always got them as part of a promotion they were running. It's effectively a range bag - pretty sure they came with a removable shoulder strap - and pretty handy but with the frequency that they give them away I'd just keep an eye on their promotions and get it free with something you need.

    Damn, then that's my problem.

Still seems like incentive to move, haha!

But, that's because I'm a country kid and I hate cities.

I just have an Uncle Mikes with the belt clip for my .45 1911 there. There's enough of a lip on the plastic that the holster doesn't come off when removing the firearm. It also has an extra mag pouch. I have a Crossbreed Super Tuck in another location...

Thanks for the info. So the Uncle Mike's is just a belt clip holster and just clips on your truck, or is it something else? I ask, because I didn't see anything on their site specifically for mounting in this location.

I have this exact bag in the Foliage version (light green/tan color), and I also have their Jumbo Bailout bag in Coyote. I use the Jumbo one is a wheeling/camping tool bag because it holds a TON of tools (every wrench and socket I need for the entire truck, plus half a dozen pliers, wire strippers, tape, screw drivers, etc).

The regular sized one I use on my passenger seat when I'm on the road for my ham radio, flashlights, ecig gear, chargers, knives, etc. Makes a great seat companion for all of those loose items that end up all over the place. Stands up nice on the seat, too.

They both have strong handles on top, are built well especially for the price, and hold lots of gear. They also come with a shoulder strap you can unclip from D rings at the top of each end of the bag. I never use the shoulder strap because this just sits in the truck or around camp. It's a great way to organize/carry all of the EDC items you pretty much want.

This pic shows all of the stuff you can fit into the regular sized bag, giving good scale to the bag itself compared next to everyday items:

The Jumbo version of this bag is right about 2x the volume.

    Hope this helps.

A brick of 3600 calorie Datrex bars and a Sawyer Mini water filter pretty much cure that issue and save space. Unless where you go doesn't have available groundwater, in which case it's always smart to carry a gallon of water per day for rations. If I'm going anywhere out of range of water, it's just too easy to fill up the 5 gallon blue jug from Walmart and bring it with just in case.

I'm waiting for the Jumbo to go on promo again and I'm getting a second one for my VIAIR compressor and attachments. It would easily fit, and then I can have all of my deflation/inflation/tire repair items in one bag, easy to grab when I'm hitting the trail.

Still, regular price for the standard bailout bag is $19.99 and the jumbo is always $29.99. Great prices nonetheless.
