Ah, I see. I like everything other than IE. Chrome is probably my favorite because it syncs up with any device. I like Firefox alot too. Safari is getting better than it used to be

Is anyone able to offer some advice on a trip to the Buffalo River? A friend and I are talking about going up there the first part of October. Would like to rent a canoe up there and paddle down the river and fish but from what I read that will depend on flow. If the flow is not enough we will probably just hike and explore.
Looks like there are a few different areas of the river so if someone has knowledge of a section that has a better chance of getting a canoe down it that would be great. Also recommendations on hiking trails would be great. Longer trails are cool and would have time to spend 2 nights on a trail if needed.

If fishing is your goal, rush to the white river is the best! Can be floated in 3 days, and is usually floatable year round.

I am going the last weekend in September before I dedicate the rest of my free time to killing deer!

Bow season starts here in Georgia around sept 12 I think. So I'll either miss a little bit of bow or muzzleloader season. We've been out there twice a year for the last 3 years. Usually stay at His Place Resort in Cotter.

Thanks for the white river tip. Looks like work is sending me to Salt lake around this time so I am going to try and turn it into a week at Moab when I get done with work.

Anything downstream of Maumee is usually floatable year round. If you need shuttle service I recommend these guys: http://www.buffaloriverfloatservice.com/
Maumee to Rush is a good 2-day trip. Also, check out Crooked Creek. One of the best smallmouth fisheries there is.

The Hemmed in Hollow trail is a good one. We made a 2 day trip out of it, camped by the river and took the Compton horse trail out. It was only about 8 miles, but pretty steep. There's always the BRT.

Our favorite is Kyles landing, but I know that section of the river is only floatable in the spring. We have hike to Hemmed-in-Hollow from there a few times. There's a fun set of bluffs that the trail comes out on top of about 2 miles from Kyles. We have backpacked in and camped on the bluffs, jumped off the bluffs, then hiked to hemmed in hollow and then returned back to Kyles. Fun trail.

I've also done a loop from Camp Orr (Boy scout camp near Kyles) to Kyles, hemmed in hollow, up on the ridge, and back to the camp, both as a scout and as a leader. I love that Area&

Here's a picture of the tire life left; a pretty even 5/32. My gage is just transitioning from green to yellow.

Do you have a map for these trails? Sounds like it would be a lot easier, elevation wise, since you are already in the river bottom than starting at the Compton trailhead.

Are these still for sale and is that with spacers and tires? And would you be willing to trade?

Yes they are, but I need the cash. That's wheels, spacers, tires, lug nuts, and red locktite.
