Starting over with a new GMC AT4 Satin Steel Metallic Softopper, Bilstein 5100's @ 1.75 in the front, TSB Rear, 17x8.5 Lvl 8 Guardians, 265/70-17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W, Scooped, Anytime fog mod, Osram Nightbreakers, LED Interior lights, Debadged, Painted valance, Removed rear head rests, De-flapped, Hidden Hitch installed, Weather Techs, Flyzeye'd A/W/A, Cover Kings.
First off the Seahawks have been to 3 Super Bowls in the last 10 years and have dominated the NFC west since they joined in 2002 winning 7 of a possible 13 division championships, next team is 3 (SF.) The only stretch they have been a "shit" team was in the early 90's when their owner tried tanking the team to lose the fan support and move them to LA (Ken Behring) Instead after fan support wouldn't waiver following a couple 2 and 6 win season he sold the team to Paul Allen. 4 Playoff appearances in the 80's incl. an AFC Champ game, 1 in the 90's due to Behring, 5 in the 2000's and 4 in the 2010's. Not terrible for a team who started in 1976. Since 1976 only 4 less playoff appearances than the Packers.

Secondly, how do you figure "Seattle is getting cheap with their players?" They have made Sherman and Thomas 2 of the highest paid players at their position. Kam got paid well. Bennett and Avril got paid well. Baldwin got paid. Lynch makes great money, he just wants more now. I think the Hawks have the best front office in football, similar to GB, they realize you can't pay everyone and that you have to keep the big picture in mind. Constantly draft well and re-stock with home grown talent. They're not cheap, they're smart and efficient.

Third, They're losing Beast Mode in a year or two regardless of how much they pay him. He'll retire soon.

Fourth, I agree with your point that they need to pay Wilson and they will. I don't think he's overrated I actually think he's underrated. This team had a top 10 defense and Beast Mode before Wilson arrived, 7-9. People forget that.

Allen has a history of cheap with players even though he's worth about 17 billion. I believe it's one of the reasons his other team, the Portland Trailblazers haven't won a title in decades.

Exactly. The timing of getting a new phone then claiming he always destroys his old ones was just a tad too lame of an alibi.

Don't fully know what happened or his reasoning behind destroying the phone....but if any of my previous bosses asked to see my phone to find out something (e.g. snooping), I would tell them no thank you.

Granted he is in a different situation than I would be in, but the idea is still the same. You never know what other sort of stuff was on the phone that no one needs to know about. Personal information like that is not safe in anyone's hands.

What if he and Gisele were having marital problems? Health concerns discussed in the texts that the league would be combing, financial information, etc. Again, I am not fully backing him up on this one because it was a shady move, but it would be a cold day in hell before I let my bosses ransack my phone to try and see whats up. Especially with the whole world having eyes on him, you could be **** sure that one of the league investigators would tell their wife something interesting that turned up outside of deflating footballs, and then the next day at the hair salon she would tell her best friend, and before you know it the National Enquirer would be running a story about how Tom was having an affair or some other BS.

20% tint on all windows, Deckplate mod, satoshi-ish grille, blacked out and/or body matched emblems, rattle canned rims, red l.e.d. interior lights, bilstein 5100's and OME 881 coils , deaver 8 leaf pack, 1.5" lift shackle, alpine sound system, 55w HID lightforce 140 and 170 fogs
They stated that all they wanted was hard copies of the relevant texts and they would jus trust that Brady was being honest and turning anything related to the case over. They didn't even require him to turn over the actual phone.

Not to mention it is also in his contract that he, and all players, are required to turn over evidence pertaining to an investigation so if they wanted to they could have said they wanted the whole phone.

The phone company has a record of the texts but can only release them if they are forced to by a court. All Brady had to do was sit with the investigators while they downloaded any relevant texts off of the phone, they didn't ask for the phone, he could have supervised the session. But, he's guilty, so his only move was to destroy the phone.

Actually, right now I'd say he plays.

He's already authorized the NFLPA to sue the NFL in Federal Court. This shit doesn't happen fast.

They'll file, likely this week, and they'll request an injunction to shelve the suspension until the lawsuit can be heard. That'll be next year some time maybe, so his suspension would likely be on hold till after that hearing. Thus, he's actually pretty likely to play week 1. I'd say better than 50/50 odds at this point, because as we've seen before, these cheaters don't back down or admit wrongdoing ever.

RIDICULOUS for sure! We'll be watching our teams play or specific games and it will be talked about one way or another.Probably going to have to watch opening night on mute since i'm a STEELERS fan and we play the Patriots.

    Here's a funny one

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/07/28/nflpa-calls-brady-decision-outrageous/

Interesting they bring up 'due process'. Which, last I heard, was a very specific legal term dealing with a court of law and either civil or criminal wrongdoing.

Neither of which has fuck-all to do with the NFL. They have a CBA with very specific rules and procedures agreed to by both sides for all these disputes. The NFL is a gazillion dollar enterprise, but they are not a court of law nor of civil liability, and have no legal authority over anything outside of that.

Evidently the "Patriot Way" borrows heavily from the Enron Executive Manual...
