My 15 does this also, really annoying. I found that if i push the window button down a really quick tap, itll drop it enough to stop the noise almost completely. If you push too hard it will bring the window all the way down. Might work for other people here too!

this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^fixed my 15 window noises and if you only back the window down really really tiny quick tap I have had no water issues even in Florida afternoon monsoons. Windows 100 percent up sounds come right back. Good luck!

Tried this and haven't been successful unfortunately. Also kinda a bummer if you have to do this every time after opening or closing the window.

The piece of cloth I put in the window seemed to work over the weekend, didn't notice any noise at all. Although, I did have someone else in the truck so I might not have just noticed it. This morning on the drive to work it was back though so it didn't seem to work, or didn't work very long. I'm still thinking this is my best option for stopping the noise, I'm going to investigate a slightly thicker fabric. I'm wondering if might my be coming from where the weatherstripping meets the door frame on the window (not where the door closes against the cab). Not sure, need to do some more work. I also pressure washed the truck this weekend (after driving on the beach with salt water) and there was no water inside, definitely doesn't seem like a leak any where.

+2 on the window switch trick not working.

I guess I'll bring it up at the 5k visit.

Update on this: I dropped it by the dealer today before work, they said they couldn't replicate it (go figure) and that there's nothing they could do. I'm going to come back Friday and take the technician for a ride and see if I can get him to pinpoint exactly what I'm talking about, we'll see how it goes...If the still don't find anything, I'm thinking either telling them to just replace it and I'll pay for it (I'll get a quote before I do this, hopefully not too much but I'm guessing they'll want my right arm to do it) or just buy buying something myself to add to the door frame to give it a better seal. We'll see what happens, either way this is annoying the **** out of me.

Mine is the window seal for sure. You can hear it over bumps and the sound is replicated by pressing and releasing the top frame seal on the inside.

The dealer said the usual "we couldn't replicate it, we can't do anything" so I'm going back Friday on my day off to go for a test drive with them but I'm not overly optimistic it'll go well. Think I'm going to have to DIY this or figure something out.

I thought that was mine as well but if I push on door frame from the inside it also makes a noise, I assumed it was the door weatherstripping. I was thinking of maybe getting a piece of rubber or thin weatherstripping and just sticking it on the inside door frame and seeing if that helped. If it's the window seal I don't know how to go about fixing that, any thoughts?

EGR? Not familiar with it, what is it exactly?

On my '15 DC, I have low-pitched noise - almost a ghost moan - when I hit 80 mph (off public roads only, of course). No noise ever until 80 and it's not non-stop, just intermittent. It's really hard to tell where it's coming from. I've had my wife in the car with me to identify the source and we are both convinced it is coming from the dash/windshield area. While it sounds like it's from the dash area, seeing threads on window noise, I added Weathertech window deflectors front and rear and the noise persists.

Anybody have the same thing? I know it's a waste of time taking it to the dealership as they won't be able to replicate since the speed limit around here is 70.

Yep! Bought my '15 about a month ago. My wife and I just got took a trip from AZ to MT. At freeway speeds with crosswinds we got the noise - always on the passenger side. My wife put pushed on the top of the window and it seemed to stop. Saw a Youtube on another TW thread that captured the noise exactly (Thread 8 at https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/whistling-noise-in-crosswinds-at-highway-speed.309795/. Not sure how Toyota can deny it exists.

Because they don't give a shit. People buy these things like they are last vehicles out there and they know it. Why fix them when they can't keep them on the lots.

I have a 2015 off road same noise same window, I also have a squeak when I get in and out of my truck from the rear spring area. Now what I don't get is, I'm as wound tight as they get ( I realy wish I could change and not care). The funny thing is, these noises just don't bother me. Well I know that wasn't a solution to your problem, just thought I'd let you know your not alone.

I'll take a video of my window noise, it is different than the sound in the other video.

I'm going to have the address it at my 5k appt.

I have exactly the same thing. I have had my truck for about two weeks now. I hit the highway and once I got around 80 I heard the same exact thing. Even made a comment how this truck was haunted. Riverrock try this, " Turn the AC on and off and let me know what happens."

I swear when I turn the AC off that the intermittent moaning noise stops. Turn the AC on and it starts again. I was actually going to get some audio/video tomorrow and post it on here and ask the experts. Go figure a thread of such existed already on TW.

This same problem with the wind noise has been around for awhile. I complained to my dealer for two years and they came up with nothing other than it was my Weathe Tec wind guards. When I removed them the problem was still there. Something Toyota is ignoring as they know there will not be enough outrage to come up with a solution. Dealers will just keep saying we have to live with it. Minor annoyance but an annoyance just the same.

Right Toyota could care less. If these things were still made and assembled in Japan most the issues we have would not exist.

I get the same wind noise on my driver's side. Never heard any complaints from passengers. It sounds like wind drag right beside my ear.

I've noticed that the window gasket appears to not be set perfectly flush on the drivers side, but sits perfect on the passenger's. Pics below, first picture is drivers side gasket, second is passenger's side.
