um, yea our local stealership not only offers lifetime warranty but lifetime oil changes but guess how much I bet my tire rotations will cost. Also I got sucker punched by the South East Toyota add on package they screwed me on cause I missed it on the invoice which basically paid for those oil changes. Yep I'm a dumb ass. At least that day. :)

Didn't ruin my day. Just some of the threads and questioning some people's intelligence. Did someone have a gun pointed at your head to respond to my post once again, cause seems to be the case.

OP passed along info from dealership how does that show "lack of intelligence"?

Wasn't referring to this particular thread, though it is a silly thread. As stated almost every new car dealer offers some sort of lifetime warranty/free oil change/etc. gimmick. Does this warrant a thread? kinda silly but what do I know. again if it bothers you so much why are you replying. I bet you are quite the "interesting" person in real life.

I been told I'm interesting and? Yes we get its not new strategy by a dealership, but there will always be threads that are a waste of your time but helpful to others. You attacked the OP like it was his dealership that was putting out the offer. Then you saying, (dealerships been doing this for years its not new this is stupid its a worthless thread murrrrrrr) when he simply passed on some info lol

    Sorry Usafwx,

I was not intending offend anyone. I simply did not know about this, and I thought that perhaps there were others who were unaware that dealers were doing this. I would appreciate any suggestions that you have as to how I can preface future posts so as not to offend anyone.

    Thanks

No sorries required or am I offended. Just get frustrated with threads like these, but that's my own problem.

Looks like their network of "participating" dealers is pretty wide. The FAQ says the following:

You can buy certificates at Discount Tire or America's Tire for any tire, whether you buy them there or not. You get tire replacement for destroyed tires and rotations and balancing for the life of the tire. The 3 year term on the back is for litigation purposes. They will honor it until it's not safe to drive on.

We do this for all our tires. Anyone who pays for rotations must made of money

no where in the FAQ does it even list the dealers.

that's worded by a lawyer, they leave out the tail end of that sentence....

Absolutely yes! This coverage is good anywhere in the Continental United States, Hawaii, and Cananda ..... if there is a participating dealer

I will stick with my Toyota plat warranty, then there is no question about who is a participating dealer.
