New from MA

Hey guys, my names Jared and although I may be new here, I am certainly no stranger to truck forums. I am a veteran member of a couple GM truck forums. But, I have recently acquired a 2001 Tacoma 4x4 xtra cab with a 2.7 4 cyl wit 217k. It was in an accident and I got it for FREE 99 from my girlfriend's father. I have already purchased most of the parts needed for repair and cannot wait to get it on the road. I've wanted a Tacoma for a long time but could never justify the price of them, until now of course. Anyway, I plan on mildly modding the truck slowly over time since college is my main priority these days. I will be on here surfing threads quite a bit from here on, and will ask questions ONLY if they are not answered in another thread. I know how annoying that can be.

Welcome Jared! 1st gen's look awesome when they get built up, I look forward to seeing what you do with it. You should chronicle your process to fixing the accident damage! I'd follow that, just to gleen some know-how. Best of luck on the fix!
