New member to the site although I've been reading threads about maintenance for some time.

I own a 04 tacoma 4x4 trd. All stock except for a camper shell and hitch that I use to tow an aliner. 206k miles and counting no real problems just normal wear and tear. ~15% miles off of pavement. ~10% miles pulling 1600lb trailer.

I'm kind of in between when it comes to the 4x4 community. Use the rig for "high speed" 55+mph desert running and rock crawling as well as for Overlanding. Normally camp out in the trailer off of forest roads throughout the southwest.

Favorite places: Arizona desert. California Lost Coast.
Places I'd like to visit next: Alaska and Baja.

Some things I'd like to mod in the short term: armor (front/rear bumpers, sliders).

Long term mods: Front Locker. Hitch mounted winch that I can move to the front/rear. Flippac.

I'm not a mechanic but enjoy doing as much maintenance on the truck as I am capable of.
