Greetings all. I'm a recent Tacoma inheritor; taking over my wife's 2008 SR5 Access Cab when I traded in my much-loved '00 4Runner for her new ride. My truck is a 2.7L RWD that I have added a Trac Rack, helper springs, towing package, sheepskin seat covers, and an Alpine Stereo to. I have a rather lengthy commute, so the gas mileage is a definite improvement over the T4R. The miles are approaching six figures, so I'll be ordering a set of Bilsteins and maybe a rear anti-sway bar soon. From a practical standpoint, this truck is fantastic; it has a great deal more utility than my old wagon (but less seating). Very pleased...

I am a dad/granddad, an Army vet, a retired NNSA Federal Agent, and presently a petro-chemical estimator for the Department of Energy. I have a small farm in Waldheim, LA and I'm married to a really cool Colombian lady who grew up in New Orleans. I love motorcycles, bicycles, canoeing, fishing...outdoor stuff. I look forward to participating in this community.

My 2000 was a third-gen. I think it was the best version ever...an expedition vehicle with class and comfort!
