I'm having trouble with the 4WD, whenever I put it in 4 low it makes a beeping noise. But whenever I use 4 high the beeping goes away.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Yup, the beep indicates it did not engage 4LO.

    Try this:

    Stop Completely
    Put it in Neutral
Engage 4HI (wait until the dash indicator is not flashing)
    Engage 4LO

someone needs to consult the manual on how to shift to 4lo. as stated above.

Pop her in 4hi while moving in a proper location. Then come to a stop (you must be under 3mph) and shift to neutral only then can you shift to 4lo.

Speaking of which I finally tried my 4LO yesterday. As spurred by the last thread about someone's 4LO beeping. ;) DEFINITELY feels different. And there's a whining sound while moving in 4LO. Is that normal? Soon I as switch to 4H the whining goes away.

Okay cool. Almost sounded like SuperCharger whine. lol

OP - I learned the hard way years ago that you can't get into 4LO unless you do it right. Tried to go from 2H to 4LO in a vehicle once and got buried in the mud thinking it was actually in 4WD. That particular vehicle did NOT have an audible alarm to let you know it wasn't in 4WD either. Not to mention the turn knob on that went from 2H to 4LO without having to push it in first. So you could just flick it anywhere you wanted at any time.

On my 2015 Tacoma you have to be pretty intentional about it.

Maybe he sold it and got another. Maybe that's why he doesn't know how to engage 4L correctly lol.
