Looking for feedback on the various add a leafs available. I have a 2015 dclb and looking to add a mild lift. I'm sort of between the icon progressive aal and the deaver single aal. Please tell me your experience with various add a leafs. And yes eventually I will put in a whole new leaf pack but that doesn't fit my application right now. Thanks

I wanted to keep my overload leaf, so I opted for the wheelers 1.5" single AAL. I don't have experience with any other brands, but for $77 I'm thrilled with the results.

The 3 leaf is certainly the smoothest riding option, and usually provides about 1.5-1.75" of lift.

Are your current leaf springs Flat, or do they look like they are Frowning Down over the axle?

Good Call! So, then OP you should be good to go with the 3 leaf aal set.

I just added an All Pro 3 Leaf AAL and left my overload in. Got 2.5 inches out of it. It should settle to 2 though.

Damn wish I could have gotten more feedback sooner...already ordered the Icon 3 leaf. The stock leafs are still pretty good just need to lift the rear end a bit.

Hey, I'm not trying to threadjack but I've read elsewhere on the forum that the Wheeler's 2" single AAL is a bit better for load carrying than the 3 leaf progressive. Since I added an aluminum commercial style cap and a few tools my '14 is a tiny bit lower in the rear than the front. My stock leafs (3+1) are about perfectly straight, maybe a tiny bit of negative arch or "frowny". Bro lean makes me frowny...:(

The Single is better suited for load support, but sounds like the 3 Leaf would also work well for you.

I'm planning a trip to Utah this Sept and I'm gonna have backpacks, a tent, maybe camp chairs, fuel and water cans, and other miscellany and I don't wanna be saggin for 4500 miles. Since my payload is never huge, the 3 leaf may be adequate. It does offer at least some load helping though, right? Even if its not as much as the single 2"? I rarely carry heavy loads or tow.

Yeah a 3 leaf will carry loads better than a single 2". Your weight carrying capacity goes up with an AAL

I love my wheelers progressive aal. I spent the extra 10 bucks on the heavy duty version for both my tacos

A question about shock length, should we be running extended travel shocks with an aal? I'm looking at the 3 leaf and I wouldn't think extended shocks are required because it's basically gonna get me to stock height or a hair above, just with a bit more weight in the bed. Am I barking up the right tree here?
