I just bought a 15 Tacoma last month and I'm thinking about replacing the OEM mud flaps. I had a 10 Tacoma and the OEM mud flaps lasted a year before speed bumps and snow / slush tore them up. Anyone really for or against either? I like the looks of both but I kinda prefer the more rounded mold of the Husky flaps. That said, Weathertech does everything 1st class, so I'm torn which way to go.

I know the Husky flaps include a clear film to protect the paint, does Weathertech? Any thoughts / pics are appreciated. I'm new here!

Just learned Husky isn't making mud flaps yet for the 2015... I called them today so I ordered the Weathertechs. I'll post pics once I have them on.

Replaced the front mud flaps with Husky's today. They are 3"s shorter than the stock ones and I think look much better. I reused the stock pins and screws. EzPz.

    Hi All,

My Weathertech mud flaps came in today and I'm REALLY happy with them. I went to the dealer and got a few new clips in case I broke any removing the factory flaps but as it turned out, I didn't break a single one. They were easy to instal and they covered up 98% of the factory scar. You can barely see any old scar and I used one of those clear scratch remover pens and hit what little the new flaps didn't cover. You can't even tell. Perfect fit!IMG_1247.jpgIMG_1248.jpgIMG_1248.jpg

I like the nicely finished contours of the Husky flaps. The others look like they were cut with scissors.

Did you measure them side by side before replacing them? Are the Weathertechs shorter? Wider? Longer?

They're much shorter in the front especially. They're the length Toyota shoulda used to begin with.
