Can't get more industrial than an old FJ...I like the circular vents Icon sticks in theirs, think they sourced them from the aviation industry IIRC, can't get more manly than that! Though if it were up to me, all pickups would have a dash like this. Basically a flat piece of sheet metal and call it good, hose outable interior is a good thing...imo.

Not necessarily. Older trucks were more boxy, some of the new designs are more round. Toyota destroyed the look of the Tundra with the rounded body style. But it is slowly improving as it goes back to the traditional box look.

I like the interior of the 2015. It just needed to be updated a bit as its been recycled. But it looks like they took the interior of the Rav 4's (at least the 08' version). *bleck*.

I honestly would like to see a beige interior option. Would look good with a real wood dash kit.

I'm a guy who gets a truck to do all this cool stuff with but once I get it I'm too scared to take it off the pavement because I don't want dents or scratches. So I like a more eligant look inside. It reflects how I baby my trucks.

Maybe in the future I can make buddies with someone who can help me customize the dash. All it takes is money right?

Maybe it will grow on me.

    Not enough...

Seriously. Beige interior? In a truck? lol.
Favorite feature in my truck is having no carpet. Vinyl flooring all the way.

    Take the bull-shit someplace else.

I think having a grown man pissing contest over which interior is more masculine is a bit silly.

    I like what I like.
I prefer the 2015 interior to the 2016. Not sure what that has anything to do with the off road abilities of Fords or needing to spend $50K.

Are you the one in Rock Lobster's Sig?

Cab is so small it doesn't really need them. My wife's 4 Runner has them and it helps because the cab is huge, but my 4dr cools off faster then hers does with the rear vents.

Well see you can't use them as an adequate sample for determining air flow to the rear cabin. Old people are always cold.

    Is it like this:

Depends on what you define as "older". Seems like they go through phases...round to square...and combos of the two.

I really don't give a fuck what you think of my truck lol. I didn't buy it to gain your approval.

I just think it's a bit childish that you seems to care so much about the color and style interior I like or don't like. Then you get butt hurt enough to bring in masculinity and insulting other people's vehicles.

Even a 12 year old would have moved onto boobs or some other topic by now.

My 2012 dcsb trd offroad (old, I know) has vinyl flooring. I wasn't too big on it at first, but it's so much easier to clean than carpet. Anyone heard anything about this in the 2016's or will they all be carpet?

I dunno, beige, tan, whatever you want to call it, could work in the right vehicle. Though I bet my version is waaay different than PackCon's.

This shade of tan in this color of truck...Rhino Lined floor a must. ;)

That's interesting how much taste in aesthetic can vary between person to person. To me the interior is decent, slightly better than the 2nd Gen, but that's not saying much. The exterior is a hot mess! That front end looks like Ziggy, big ass noise/grill, and the tail lights look like Mitsubishi Raider leftovers.

The absurdly ginormous amount of space between the grill and the radiator I think creates interesting opportunities for bumper/bullbar/recessed winch mount designs - something that will replace the grille as well.

Yea, I mean I can't imagine that is the "real" finished truck. Didn't Kia try that with their interiors of the original Soul to get "younger" people to buy them; but a Tacoma...no way. It looked so stupid on a nice looking truck. (still keeping my 15)

Them under and behind seat storage options, tho.

Never seen those before. All new. Only a gas cap is the same.
