    Skid plate (front section) OR FAB, Leer shell 122, CB Cobra WX ST II, Little Wil Antena, BF MudTire 32's, rear diff breather relocation, power lock tailgate, cab outlet/400W park and driving, fog lights on any time, rubber floor, blacked emblems, door ding
    No direct hit, both my rear wheels where against a boulder, gave it some gas, drive shaft turned but not the wheels. As I turn, there's a clocking sound like my LSD is stuck or something, even on a long curb on the highway. Dealer put it on the lift, and turns the drive shaft half a turn, before the wheels start to turn. When removing the drain plug, lots of metal ???
    I didn't rev the motor higher than 2500, 3000 RPMs
    No leaks, looks normal from outside, except the drive shaft moving freely

    You're going to have to pull the third member to find out. Sounds like your pinion might be missing some teeth...

    When my ring gear was missing 3 teeth it drove fine but made a horrible clunking sound while driving...

    Well it leaked about 1mm of fluid (measured from the filler hole) and then stopped.....has not started back up again.

    I think i'll just get some synthetic redline for it, a new seal, and just do it.

    You'll have to be very careful. It's very easy to mess up that crush washer and your gears will be off and they'll grenade on you down the road... If it stopped leaking; I would just monitor it and leave it be.

    I'm still going to clean the housing, frame, gas tank, exhaust, etc. so i can track it on the fly.

    But what has me most concerned is things getting in past the seal. Like moisture, water, mud, etc.

    I don't trust myself to do it.... you have to pull the third and pull the pinion. After that you are basically setting your own gears up again... pretty sure they recommend replacing the crushwasher since they aren't really reusable.
