Keying is the only way to get their attention. Reasoning doesn't work with these people. Hitting their pocketbook will.

So where is okay for someone to park their bike when there are no designated parking spots? I will be honest and have parked mine in the area of the handicap parking where the lines fill the voided area not used by anyone. Is that still considered an asshole?

    Something like this?

In a busy lot like Walmart, I would prefer you park in void handicap spots so there are more spots for cars. So you are not asshole.

From my pessimist former cop perspective I see people do that and assume they think they are more important/better than everyone else. Keep in mind others don't know what your thought process was in deciding to park there.

Those areas are blocked out so folks in wheel chairs can easily maneuver in and out of and around their vehicles.

OOOO i like this thread..... let me show you my most recent.

I typically park WAY out in the boonies in my truck usually with one side against a curb so mitigate hits. But the one time I go to the grocery store and park semi close to the front (parking lot was pretty empty) i come out to see this.

The person pulled only 2/3rds of the way in, and was WAYYYY over into my spot... note that the spots are separated by not one line by TWO and were WIDE spots to begin with. My damn driver door would open right into their mirror, i couldn't even get my arm through the door. I ended up having to come in via passenger side after i left them a nice love note.

Vigilantism is the only recourse left. LOL.

Bad driving can make you a criminal too.

Assaulting someone who vandalizes something makes a criminal too.

Its all just interwebs boasting anyways.

Wait, didn't we go a round on this already?
