Hey guys how much work does it take to install the tent on the roof? I'm looking for a time frame for 2 guys to mount it up to be ready for travel.

Also, those of you with Prinsu Racks. Are the stock bolts and mounting plates a good size to go around the cross bars?

First time. A couple hours. Much less after its all together to get it on and off 5 min with 2 people by hand. I leave it on my prinsu bars and just take off the 2 bars holding to the rack and lift off.

That's a great idea. I'm gonna do that. Did the stock bolts for your rack? And do you worry about somebody doing that and stealing your tent?

Getting closer to being ready to go!

I like to recommend that people replace the nuts that hold the rails to the tent. When i took mine off my old rack to build the new one 3 out of the 4 bolts had completely backed out of the locknuts. I like to recommend distorted thread nuts. I used these, they fit in the groove just like the originals. I don't know if they are the same thread as the provided bolts as the threads on mine were destroyed from the tent bouncing back and force unsecured and jacked up the holes in the tent as well. http://www.mcmaster.com/mv1437769867/#93795a220/=y9b0su

Yep original hardware for now. May switch out later.

Not worried about anyone taking it. I live in the middle of nowhere. And my work lot is safe. Other than that I don't really leave my truck in sketch places.

    Paging Tepui Rep!!!

Anyone know if the Kukenam sky comes in Ruggedized? I have the Kukenam Sky right now, but should probably upgrade to the rugged version; just not sure I want to give up my Sky-lights.

There is not currently a Ruggedized Sky model for any of the Tepui tents.

Awesome. Now let's talk about some linear actuators to raise the screen for the projector for movies out in the desert and figure out where to mount the popcorn machine and pizza oven.
