I have a 2011 Tacoma PreRunner 2WD TRD Sport. The stereo console is the 6CD changer w/ ipod interface. I use the ipod 99.99% of the time. I have only 1 CD in the stereo. Sometimes, when I push the "Text" button, the "Rand" (Random) button, or seemingly any other button besides the actual "Eject" button, the stereo decides to Eject my CD. Any idea why this might be happening? What can I do to troubleshoot? Any fixes?

pics of the head unit? is the eject button close to the other buttons your pressing? maybe some dirt got in the membrane so its cross pushing the buttons?

Only minor sarcasm. I just find it odd that you have more than one electrical issue at the same time.

My 2010 does that as well.
I am an old fart and do use CDs.
If I push the channel buttons while in SAT mode to bounce up and down channels on the head unit sometimes it ejects a CD.
If I use the steering wheel controls all is fine????
I picked up another stock HU from another member, but the temps outside are just a bit warm right now so I have not tried it yet.

It's a little odd to me too, because I just got the truck back last weekend from the dealership replacing the DRL lenses from that warranty issue.

Not a pic from my truck, but my head unit is EXACTLY like this one. The "Eject" button is above the Volume/Power knob on the left, and the "Rand" button is below that dial, but the "Text" button is all the way on the other side under the Tuning dial and "FFW" button.
