Bluetooth Not Working? 2015 Tacoma

Hi all. Purchased my first Tacoma yesterday with nav/entune. Everything you press to get the truck synced with my iOS 4 comes up as "microphone not connected." They took it back to service and claim they switched out mics with another truck, worked fine, so now they "have no clue" what the problem is. My phone doesn't recognize the truck with Bluetooth/ wifi turned on. Anyone else experienced this??

 

Is the phone shown in the radio of the truck? If It is, delete the phone, shut the phone off, then turn it back on and then reconnect it to the truck.
I do this for a bunch of Lexus customers when they come into the dealership. For some reason the phone will be working fine and the next day, it won't work.

 

Thanks for your help. No, it does not "see" the phone, nor does the phone "see" the truck. Checked the phone, which "sees" other things. Used hubby's phone and it did the same thing. Everything you touch for setting up the phone to the truck comes up an error message "microphone not connected".

 

I would return to the dealer and visit with the salesperson that sold you the truck. Ask the salesperson to show you how to make the bluetooth work with your phone.

 

Any good sales person would have showed you that nice feature before you left the lot. Mine did at least

 

Figured it out. After insisting it was probably something unplugged after remote start wiring (and the dealer claimed it wasn't and couldn't be), they finally checked and lo and behold, a loose connection. All is working fine now.

 

I have a 2013 Tacoma. I've read all the posts, or at least a lot of them, but none seem to be addressing the problem l am facing. From one day to the next my bluetooth connection failed and l can't use it at all. I try having my phone reconnect but all it does is search and nothing. I tapped the bluetooth button to see the list of paired devices and all it says is "bluetooth Off" all the other options are not lit... l can't select them. I tried disconnecting the battery but it's still the same. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

 

2014 Tacoma. Just got a note 8 and this happens...

 

there are recent updates that addresses these concerns...need to go see the dealer.

 

Just had my radio updated on Wednesday at the dealership.

 

2015 here and just had this happen. Pixel 2 phone. Is the dealership update fixing this?

 

most of the time it does....ive had a few come in that actually need the radio replaced though.

 

Hello Im having the same problem with my entune on my 2014 Tacoma. The Bluetooth doesn't work and the navigation map is stuck in the loading map screen, is the only fix taken it to the dealer ??

 

Does it repeatedly keep loading and never leaves the loading screen?

did you arrive at any conclusions/solutions for your 15? i have exact same issue with my 2015 tacoma and galaxy s8. tried soft reset of radio and everything, is it just an update and its fixed?

 

I ended up taking it to the dealer to fix the issue. It has to reboot and update the software

 

cool, thanks! Do you know if this fixes issue of lag time as well? My tacoma lags picking up signals radio and bluetooth, i.e. when i go to the drive in movie theater, my audio is a good second behind everyone else's around me and its obvious/annoying. Also i notice on my phone that a song will and and go to the next one before its even finished playing on the screen/speakers.

 

No it didn't fix the lag time. It is still a second it so behind the video
