Are my OEM shocks toast? WTF?

The only real test as to whether your shocks are done or not, is to drive on a road with some whoops, and if your truck keeps bouncing after the whoops and acts like a lowrider, then you need new shocks. It's funny when I see a truck with blown shocks hit a bump and it looks like a trampoline.

looks to me like how the stock shocks rebound.
the compression side seems kinda soft...

That could be caused by the lite valving...
but is more likely caused by worn-tired springs.


But hey... that's why folk whom wheel their rigs upgrade their suspensions.
Plus they often install over sized tires that weigh more.

in short...

press downward/release... the suspension should rebound upwards, then settle back down a little.
Should only go thru that motion once.

If it bounces 2 or 3 times after release... they're likely shot.

the movement looks factory normal to me.
