Just a few more from our Ouray vacation a couple weeks ago.

Me and @tacocolin in front of the famous Bridal Veil Falls. The mist from the cascade was awesome.

So this happened yesterday, cutting off one's bedsides while hungover is nauseating, exhilarating, and terrifying on multiple levels.

Picked up my BruteForce Fabrication HC bumper today from the powdercoater. Install went perfectly, pictures forthcoming in the next day or so.

Good choice! I had a Bruteforce standard rear bumper before tearing the everything off for the flatbed. Billy makes a quality product.

Got up to the Colorado Toyota Jamboree this past Thursday-Sunday near Salida, Colorado. What an incredible event put on by Addicted Offroad, there were Toyotas of all shapes and sizes from massive 1st Gen Toyota Trucks (not Tacos) on 40s to 5th Gen 4runners, the gamut of rigs ranged from mild to wild. The trails in the area are some of the toughest in the state and I enjoyed every minute of it. It's a very laid back event focused solely on wheeling, with a healthy dose of catching up with old friends and making new ones. It was my 3rd Toyota event of the year, and if next year i can only make one, this will be it. So get your trucks ready for 2016!

I ran Iron Chest on Friday, helluva a rock garden for the first half mile or so before you make it to the top where there are some awesomely preserved mines. Saturday we ran Hancock Pass to Tamichi Pass for some killer scenery followed by the brutal but nonstop action trail of Chinaman Gulch, not many pictures from day two because everyone was locked in on the difficult and optional lines we were taking. The Total Chaos LT performed great along with the RCI skids that were punished beyond belief. The Bruteforce Fabrication front bumper provided me with all the approach angle needed to take on any line. The rear HC BFF bumper kept rear from dragging and saved my bedside and taillight when i leaned over into a tree. Easily paid for itself already.

Just before the trucked kicked left into the tree, saved by the side tubes!

I ripped my driver rear flare off on Chinaman Gulch last weekend, tearing 5 of the 8 flare tabs off the flare itself. Decided to try and repair it with some "plastic epoxy" a couple days ago. Seems to be holding decently so far after another quick day of wheeling and bombing through the desert. I was able to throw some larger washers on the screws to hopefully keep it on there for a while.

Also found out tonight after our night run that I will be needing to trim the front fenders and flares more, getting lots of contact at full bump at speed. I was really trying to keep the stock look with the long travel. Now to figure out how to get these flares off without breaking $60 worth of stupid clips.

Getting close to max front flex while using all the rear had to give. @tacocolin with the quick shot.

WTF, you sell your 3rd gen, hang out with the soccer mom 4th gens for a while then go dark forever and suddenly have a LT Taco? Shame on you for holding out on us.

The new truck looks sick and glad it's working out for you.
