I needed a new cooler I was set on a yeti, till I found these guys. I ended up buying a summit 20 and a 70 for the same coin I was about to drop on a yeti 45. I purchased the scratch and dent models but we cannot find the imperfections on them anywhere. They still have the same 7yr warranty and everything. So far ice retention is the same if not a little better than the yeti my neighbor has.

No problem, I don't usually advertise for people I was just really impressed with the quality of these. The walls are a little thicker than a yeti, which tells me more insulation for half the cost.

I think that they are awesome looking and look like a good quality. I just can't buy something especially a cooler that says all sales final, no exchanges or refunds. I've bought like 3 coolers that I had to return due to handles, etc.

When I talked to them on the phone they said they will offer the same warranty on the scratch and dent models handles, hinges, drain plugs, factory structual defects, etc. they just don't allow you to return the cooler for a refund.

Anyone had one of these K2 coolers for a while? If so, how's it holding up? I have a POS Coleman that's falling apart on me and looking for a replacement. I've priced out Yeti and Pelican, this option caught my eye though.

I have a k2 20qt. We use it for cold foods when camping so it doesnt get opened that much, so the ice holds fairly well. as far as drinks it will hold close to 18 cans or 12 bottles. Its important to keep a cooler closed for ice retention purposes. Think about it every time you open the cooler the cold air gets replaced with hot air. There are many things you can do to help the cooler do its job more efficiently.
