So this last Sunday, I finally got my hands on a Tacoma. My previous vehicle( which was my very first vehicle) was a 2000 Ford Ranger 4.0 v6. I had a lot of fun with it, have a lot of good memories with it as well. She did good for the 3 almost 4 years I had it. But ultimately, I needed something bigger, better to commute in, and a much needed 4wd. So, I went out and purchased this beast.. 848cbf5e33fc719119a9843943899e0e_8291c7132a27707bf20be9cee7cda1ea352b3c27.jpg

2015 Tacoma DCSB TRD Off-road 4x4, off road tow package, and entune/nav system. I am hoping to build her into a good mid travel DD. This journey/thread will consist of (hopefully) lots of pictures, fun wheeling trips with my dad, and my build!! Any tips, tricks, or just random discussions are welcome!!!

    Near future upgrades:
Dirt King/ Total chaos UCA( still haven't decided)
    King replacement coilovers
    Method nv rims
    Bfg ko2 285 tires

Welcome and congratulations on your new truck. I hope you like and enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

It amazes me that this truck has such universal appeal. Obviously you are a young man and I am one of the ancients but we both chose the same truck other than the color.

    Hope your fracture heals soon.

Thank you all! Glad to be apart of the great Tacoma community, and the fracture should be healed up in about a month.

Is it fine I posted this in this forum? Didn't realize there was a separate one strictly for builds

No reason not to post it here honestly. You got a new second gen and this is the second gen forum. I would start a new thread in the build section though to include everything you've done to it if you plan on modding.

I wish I had done that when I got mine two years ago. I've only done a few small things, but didn't really take any pictures. I could still start one but like others say, the thread is worthless without pics.

Ok cool!! Yea I'm going to start parting everything out so it might be a little bit to get it all but that's the fun in it!! You could start now!! Just keep taking pictures and take pictures of everything you have done

This is very true. Unfortunately I'm at a point in my life where I have to focus my income on other stuff at the moment but hopefully in the near future I'll start focusing more on the Taco. I've got it down to where I owe less than whats owed and I'm really feeling a new one within the next couple of years. I'm thinking I'll probably wait until then. Not the best picture but here's mine. It's hooked up to a trailer so it's hard to see everything but you get the idea. It's the most recent I have.
