Thought about it but I like hard shells for camping and keeping things locked up without worrying at all and to me they look better since they follow the body lines of the truck, also the added benefits of how sturdy they are for putting the dogs back there and what not.

Haha I really wish I would have had the $$ to have you make my shell work. After everything on my truck that's cut up I wouldn't think twice about trimming the lip on the shell and making it sit flush.

Just posting in case anyone is looking for some LT shocks. ADS 2.5 short body 8" coilover. Set up for 1st gen LT, but can swap rod ends for 2nd gen LT. Were on truck for 2 months before it was sold. They have Eibach 16" 600 springs and resi clickers. 1300$, retail on these is 1900. Or if you buy with one of my 1st gen LT kits, 3000$ for the packageedf8fcd84dcb6bcb146cbd465f80825e_9e212fa2a667a59ae447efb5f110dde5be9243e5.jpg

Thanks for the kind words Ryan! I've always loved the yota and have great respect for what you guys are doing. We tried our best to install your mounts but they just didn't fit properly on Jordan's truck. I can respect the fact that you returned his money with no questions asked  These mounts were based off of brand new motor mounts we got from the dealership and should have enough adjustment in them to accommodate all our customers. Trust me I never even wanted to build these lol, I've already got enough on my plate with other builds and LT kits. I just figured I could throw some pics on here and possibly make a few sales. Just to clarify I designed, cut and welded these last week, we shipped your mounts back months ago. I would never cheat and just copy somebody else work, That's not right!!!! I don't cut corners in this shop.

PS. They're 14mm bolts on the second gen ;)

The hex head of the bolt takes a 14mm socket or box wrench, I was referring to the actual threaded shank of the bolt which is what holds the load ;)

Long story short, my whole reasoning of posting was to clear anything up and air out the situation, which is now done. No hard feelings, and thanks for the much more detailed reply here then what we got months ago at the time. We were really in the dark as to what the issue was. If you say you didn't look at our parts for a starting point or base a jig design around them, then I'll believe you as you seem pretty adamant about the ethics which I respect. I've had it happen to me professionally multiple times, especially back when I ran ESB Fabrications for Mike. We all know that reverse engineering(for lack of a better term) is much easier when you have a part in hand then starting from scratch and having to "think"...most people take the easy way out.

At the end of the day, this is just a side deal for Landon and I. We both have full time 9-5 jobs that have nothing to do with offroad. We do this because we love fabrication, R&D and building cool parts for badass trucks. That's the way it's always been and the way it always will be.

Good luck with the business, see you around sometime in the dunes.

Nice I've loved the truss look since function 7 started using them on their honda control arms. I was planning to do my links similar, just had some brackets similar to that cut out for light bar mounts
