    Hey guys..
I'm going to be putting some new all terrains on the Yota pretty soon, and I've narrowed it down to these two.. which are pretty similar. So I'm stumped.. I've always had good luck with the BFG All Terrain, its a great tire and has never let me down in the past.

However, I've also heard a lot of good things about the General Grabber AT2. It looks like a very nice tire.. I've heard some great reviews on here from it... and since I can get both tires for the same price for my truck, i'd like to explore my options.

Has anyone switched from one of these to the other, which do you prefer?

I too am debating which of these two tires I want to get. I am more than likely going to get the General Grabber AT2s because they are substantially cheaper and look exactly like the BFGs.

I like the grabbers better. The tread has a little more space than the BFGs and the sidewall looks better IMO. And they always get good reviews. The fact that they're cheaper would be enough to seal the deal for me.

Reviving this thread because I'm debating between the 2 in a 265/70R17. Here are the specs for both tires. Price is from TireRack.com. Main differences are weight and price, both in favor of the Generals. I'd like to hear more about someone's experience with durability & ride quality. Any suggestions?

I am running that size with KO2, so far they are great, all the issues with the original KO are gone.
