Just got my new truck last week. Do you recommend undercoating it?

I'll be going on lots of gravel roads and will encounter some salted road in the fall and winter.

I would highly recommend undercoating your frame, axles, etc. My 2011 has lived on the Gulf coast for 2 years and has seen MD salt for 2 winters and now has an absurd amount of rust (and I washed often). I'm currently using Eastwood rust convertor and encapsulator to fix things, great product. I've tried POR15 and some other products but don't like it as much. I put fluid film on mine the day I brought it home. I bought a gal and the sprayer and it came with 2 bottles for the gun. Hooked it up to my pancake compressor and went to town. Still have over 1/2 gal left and will do again this fall. Frame still has a film of the FF and looks great. So glad I was proactive with this and I owe that to this site. Thanks guys.

I bought two spray cans and just coated the frame and other parts. Seemed to cover fine.
