One thing that I notice is that all of the new trucks have good year tires on them. Hopefully the actual production trucks are like that too. The crap dunlops and even the BFG's that are on the current stock models leave much to be desired.

I have noticed that at the car show and the short video that they are using Toyo A30's. I googled those tires and couldn't find anything on them. They might be a tire made for the Tacoma or a prototype tire. I also saw some Goodyear Wranglers on the Off Road. And Michelin LTX M/S. Hopefully they stopped the practice of putting crappy tires on their trucks and SUV's.

From what I have read on here (internet is gospel) if they can't prove any mods have contributed to your issue and your issue is not one of your mods, you should be OK. I would just like to have the OR features covered under warranty for peace of mind. I might be able to live with the black fender flares. I gotta see how they look with MGM.

Thanks for sharing, I've been impatiently waiting to see the manual. It seems the stick is shorter (height). I hope this means the throws are shorter as well.

They kind of eluded to that at the unveil back in Jan. The speaker mentioned shifts would be possible "with just the flick of a wrist". Of course, hard to tell what is and is not true after Sweers bullshat his way through the "Are there any carryover parts?" question.

Anyone think they know what the wheels are going to be for the different trims?

I see a couple different ones. Looks like there is really two different kinds for the upper trim levels (the silver truck pictures is obviously lower trim wheels, or prototype wheels). Wondering if anyone knows which ones may come with which trim.

I really like the wheels from the TRD Offroad from the gen 2. Wish they had same or similar designs for the gen 3.

"just the flick of a wrist", that gets me excited about the Gen 3, that and hopefully significantly better mpg (hoping for 17/25 with the 4x4). I just hope the mid-cycle refresh is significant and positive in 7-8 years.

According to Toyota's website the Push Button Start is only on the TRD Sport. I have to think that will change pretty quickly in the upcoming years.

All of the 15 Off Roads I recently saw at a Toyota dealership had black handles, black mirrors, chrome bumper, and color match flares. It seems they reversed all of those for the 16 except the bumper.
