once I ripped the drivers front off ant the clips couldn't hold it on any more there were 2 solutions buy bushwackers and then chop up brand new fender flares or take the fenders I already had and just drill holes through the ones I had. I like the factory look and it was a lot cheaper than buying new ones. Gotta save that $ for a rear bumper haha.

Thanks brotha. I was pretty stoked how it turned out. Now to make a front plate bumper! And that's cool for the fenders! I need to find a way to secure mine a little better haha. Zip ties only last so long.

Awesome. Cant wait to see how the plate bumper turns out. As for the fenders just do what I did. and I broke mine so bad that a zip tie couldn't even hold them on haha.

Yeah I like what you did I think I might try something like that.

Haha we'll figure something out. You want to do a rear tube bumper right?

    With bolts

I went to home depot and bought some bolts, rubber washers, stainless steel washers, and some nylon lock nuts. You don't have to drill through the metal part of the fender as there is already a square hole there, you just have to drill the plastic fender flare.

Yup im not really picky. I just want a high clearance with tire swing out. I don't know if something like what you did would be easier, but I would be more than happy with either.

Cool man. The tube would probably be easier. I like the one that you showed me in that picture!
Haha isn't it awesome when you find a great cheap mod that's not too hard and makes your truck that much cooler!??

Yes it was really inexpensive. The wife liked that! haha I actually got the rubber washers that had a metal face on one side and rubber on the other. It worked out great. I cant remember the exact size of the bolts I used so you will have to do a little trial and error to find the ones that work the best for you. also you don't want to tighten them too tight because the plastic will start to warp, that's why I went with the nylon lock washers so they wouldn't vibrate loose and fall out.

Awesome. Just will have to figure out how to mount a hinge on it for the swing out.

We can do 3/16" fill plate in certain parts of it where we could weld in a spindle.

I have been debating on it. We will see what my mid august check looks like. If it's good I might put the first half down on a brute force high clearance bumper.
