I believe that the kit allows u to remove it easily to prevent damage from cold/ and theft

@fergyz Okay, so I changed the battery in my key fob. We unplugged the battery and reset everything. I've tried reprogramming the key fob a few times now. Printed out the steps to do it and everything. it's still not working! I don't know what the problem is.

Did the switch of or the viper system in the truck happen to get turned off?

Huh... I'm gonna have to check for that. I know that I have my rigid light switched and the tire pressure sensor reset under the steering wheel. I'll check after work today.

Most viper systems should have one somewhere

It's not my viper fobs though. Those don't work either, but my keyless entry is what I'm talking about.

If I remember correctly, if you have the system itself turned off with that switch, then the viper fobs won't work

This is what is pissing me off. stupid little key fob. one of the reasons I got this truck is so I don't have to manually lock and unlock my doors. lol it's so irritating!
