Still a lot of 2015

tacos available. I stop by my Toyota dealerships this past weekend and was surprised to find 15 2015 tacos available at one dealership and 11 available at the other dealership. They are available in all different configurations and colors. I was a bit surprised that they would have that many still available for sell considering the 2016s are right around the corner.

none around here, you'll find each region is different and some dealers are getting there allocations later than others, its only July.

Some salesman told a guy on here that he couldn't keep 15s on the lot... The guy walked outside and saw 18 2015 Tacomas sitting on the lot

 

There aren't too many where I am at. Even then no one has my exact configuration and color.
In my area the prices aren't coming down at all. That doesn't mean they aren't negotiating sticker down more, but I just notice that there haven't been any advertised incentives/discounts to get a 15.
The dealer I'm working with, the sale guy said he they weren't selling 15 any cheaper. However, this guy knows I want a 16 lol.

Up here in Minnesota the lots are still pretty full of the 2015s. It will be interesting to see how much they are discounted in the coming months. I'm torn between getting a 2015 at a deal or the new 2016 and am waiting to actually see and drive a 16 before I make up my mind.

While having my prius serviced, I walked thru the trucks. They had about 8 access cab with various packages, and i think only one double cab short bed.

 

My closest dealer had one access cab and it was a full delete poverty fleet model. The other 9 Tacomas they had were all double cabs. 4 of the 9 were Off Roads and two of them were 4x4. 3 were Sports with one in 4x4 and two in 2x4. Then they had two sr5 in 2x4. It seems the dealers around here only have expensive ones left, except for that full delete poverty model.

 

I drove another 2015 yesterday and like them even more but the new problem is that I found out you can get a JBL stereo which sounded awesome. The only problem is the only one around this area is silver, I don't like silver.

 

they can easily do a dealer trade. Mine was shipped from Alabama to Florida

 

Right now I'm looking at a 2015 4 door short box sport. Most of them around here are priced around 33k give or take depending on options. When the 2016's hit the lots what can I expect in discounts for a 2015 assuming the one I want is still available?

 

There's a shitload of DCSBs in Texas. My dealership has dozens, all SR5 Texas Editions.

 

What makes it a Texas edition.
