That would be awesome! My new bumper has given me like 8 more inches of clearance and it looks way more awesome. Plus the convenience of having the tire on the swing out and not in the bed is great. Makes more room for other camping gear.

Ya I would like to but we will see. Ya I want my spare on the back. It is under the truck right now but is rubbing on the diff so I need to move it around a little to fix that.

I understand bro. It's expensive when you're buying one haha. Yeah I didn't feel like clearancing underneath to fit the 33" spare. Was also worried about the rubber being so close to the exhaust.

Naw I haven't bought anything yet. Still thinking about it. If I do regear I think it would be the smart thing to throw in an ARB locker at the same time so I don't have to spend a bunch of extra money down the line to have one put in.

I wouldn't attempt doing the gears yourself if you've never done them before, would take to a competent shop. Or are you guys just swapping rear diffs? If you have a TRD sport you'll have to get a carrier to accommodate the Air Locker. Call the dudes at East Coast Gear Supply and they can tell you everything you need to know.

Ok cool. Yeah I'm pretty sure if you were to get a locker you'd have to get a new carrier that would accommodate the locker.

It didn't take much to clear it. All i took was a bfh to brackets that hold the stock spare in place and beat them up flat. The exhaust hasn't caused any problems at all. I just need to move the tire back about 1.5" and I will clear the diff.

Yeah I hear ya. Locker would help for sure but like you said, there's other more important things to do before that.

Oh cool, well that's good. For now that's a great spot for the spare. You'll love having the extra clearance with the HC bumper when and if you do get one.

Ya I will. Oh it is just a matter of when not if. Lol. I have had many times where I wish I had the clearance.

Ya that is nice but probly won't use it much. Considering the bumper will have two clevis points on the back. :D

Very true, you can already throw 2 shackles out to the sides on the recovery points.
