Has anyone ever backpack Lakes Trail in Sequoia & Kings Canyon? Planning on doing it this October with my GF since that's the only time we have free. Wondering how it was and what the weather may be like in October if you guys have done it. Plan is to hike all the way to Pear Lake camp a night and then camp a night at each lake on the way back to the car. 3 nights, 3 lakes.

image.jpg Trying out the new pressurized, hot water shower system. Works great, and you feel like a million bucks after a long day of hiking and fishing. Girlfriend loves it. image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

That looks fancy and nice! I just use a cheap gravity setup currently. It warms up the water while in the sun but takes 3-4 hours to heat up to "room temp". I actually use it more just for washing my hands lol

image.jpg Yeah it's awesome I used to have the hanging 5 gallon bladder as well. I finally forked out a little cash and bought that set up at bass pro. I definitely don't regret it.

It takes only a couple minutes to setup. It has a thermometer on the side which shows you how hot the water is getting while on the burner, once it reaches 100 degrees it's perfect and only took about ten minutes to heat up 50 degree water to 100. Surprisingly doesn't use that much propane and it breaks down into a small duffel bag. @velillen

Well, the Hilleberg Enan tent I bought condensates :(. Didn't expect that from Hilleberg! Then new super light weight material doesn't breath too well. Thinking about trading it in for the akto or go to another lightweight tent?

All tents can have condensation. I hate to ask, but was it set up properly? Site location included.

Under the fly yes, no tent should condensate inside the bag. I understand you'll get moisture but not dripping! I spend proabbly a month out of a year in tents
