So did the alignment problem get figured out? I really need uca, as I just had 887's installed. It aligned ok, but I want to get these control arms.

I love mine. But I don't thank they are adjustable I think they add more caster? Don't quote me on that though.

Ok. Didn't know that. I was thinking adjustable like the LR ones.

The camburgs do get your truck back into alignment. As seen here:
"These arms also correct the suspension geometry on lifted vehicles by increasing much needed caster which improves handling and allows for a wider range of alignment adjustment."

Wuut? UCAs dont have to be adjustable to correct low caster. LR is the only brand I can think of that offers adjustable UCAs (there may be others). All the others are built in a manner that by adding them you gain a predetermined amout of caster. You then use the truck's caster adjustments to dial in what you want.

Please don't state that the JBA's are adjustable. You'll only cause confusion. There is nothing to adjust--product is fixed at fab time. When they were built at the fab, the +2* of castor should have been built into arm.

I was reassured yesterday that he's actively investigating the alignment issue. I'm going to be patient and wait. Meanwhile I can tell you that the HD arms are fantastic off road with my OME suspension. Truck was carrying 1,150 lbs. I wheeled in Inyo Natl forest, and truck did great! Full range of motion compression / flex.

I'm interested to see what the alignment numbers come out to with the new arms. I want to order a set in the next few weeks but want to wait and see if they got the bugs worked out yet.

Probably have the only 2nd Gen with an 8274 in the world.
So is it only the updated HD's or is it both versions of the updated arms that are low on caster? I've got the updated regulars and I have not gotten my truck aligned as I'm making a decision on tires at this time, and am still needing to add a leaf or two to the rears. I appreciate it.

I sure hope so. Don't know who is going to do your alignment, but it's wise to explain to the tech that your looking for stock alignment values and not to assume that with your lift it can't get there. Specifically, tell them to get camber into spec, and then adjust for as much castor as possible.

I really liked how my truck drove with 2.2-2.4* castor.

    I'm hoping for good news.

That sounds good. 0,0,2 would be good for you then. They should be able to tell if there is room to go higher on castor but still torque it down at 2.0* for you.

I just got finished installing the regular JBA UCAs (i.e., not the HD ones). They are the updated ones (think they're called version 7.0.10). Install took about 3 hours which also included installing wheeler's 3/8" top plate spacers, so uca install was probably a little over 2 hours.

I know the biggest issue with these (aside from the current caster mystery) was the clearance on the top spring perch. I can assure you that these definitely clear the perch as I cycled them up and down prior to tightening everything up just to make sure. Eyeballing it looked to be about 1/2-3/4" clearance around the perch.

I've got an OME lift with 885's in the front and was using original UCAs. Alignment was ok, but like others have stated with a similar setup, it felt twitchy. Immediately after installing the JBA UCAs I felt little to no twitchiness and it seemed to resembled how the truck handled prior to the OME lift install.

I will be getting an alignment this week and will post those results once I do. Keeping my fingers crossed I can get within the 0/0/2 to 0/0/2.5 target zones.

Not sure... Is Marlin doing your alignment or in an independent shop?

On the values, You want: 0 camber, 2-2.5 castor, 0 toe. :D
