If you catch a thief stealing your property just put them in time out in the corner. :jerkoff:

its funny how certain laws are enforced like the you should run away fom someone whos is stealing from you,but theres millions of undocumented illegals in this country but the Law turns a blind eye to this, last time I checked being an illegal alien breaks Federal Law. And I don't need a criminal justice course to know and see this

just be careful and smart guys when you go out and would rather confront a thief on your property rather than wait for police to show up....be tactical. ie send your dog out, remotely activate your car alarm, scream your lungs out, etc...if you have a gun (preferably a shotgun), scan the scene for secondaries, and make contact...scream so neighbors can hear you, and use verbage that will help you if it ever went to court (i dont want to shoot you, drop the weapon, etc) create good witnesses that can relay what you said, in court. of course, scenarios change...but if you would rather hang back, be the best witness you can be and get a good description of thiefs and cars they fled in, direction they went and how long ago it happened.

I think you're missing the point. Go ahead and shoot the next guy who peaks into the windows of your truck. You'll feel like a tough guy for a few minutes until the cops show up and haul your ass away for MURDER. :smack:

It's not just crackheads. I had mine stolen off of my 4runner while it was parked 30 feet away outside of my office window. I didn't know there was an issue until I fired it up to go home. We pulled tbe security video and it was clear that these guys were organized and worked in a team. We never even saw anyone actually get under the car in the video because they knew the cameras were there and concealed the entire operation.

A truck pulled up in front of my car ( truck blocking my car from view). A guy on the drivers side hops out, and crawls under the car. Truck drives away. A few minutes later truck pulls back in and backs into the parking spot across from my car. Another minute passes and it pulls in front of my car to block the view again. Guy under car hops in truck and drives away. You could never see the guy under the car. While thing took maybe 4 minutes. IMO not just your average crackheads.

Cats contain precious metals. Platinum, rubidium, and a couple of others.

Also as an FYI. Toyota are some of the most targeted vehicles. 3rd gen 4runner especially. Not sure the exact reason but it has something to do with the stock clearance of the vehicle.

An important time to know the distinction between bare and bear, but still, I think this is a bit more appropriate response to someone stealing your stuff.

Not in favor of drawing down on anyone if I dont feel like my life is in danger. You never know when some dumbass kid accidentally sent his skateboard under your truck, lost a frisbee, dropped keys, whatever. Pumping off a few rounds into that poor kid would be a pretty unfortunate, and permanent mistake there.

While I don't condone theft, and think its completely messed up, I also dont believe any of my personal property is worth another life. When I was a kid, I did really stupid shit like stealing hood ornaments. I can only imagine that some folks wished me dead for it, and I seriously regret it. I also don't believe getting my head blown off would be a punishment proportionate to the crime. I deserved a serious ass-kicking for sure.
