Was the back of the truck a lift gate for the cap? If so, I know who that is, he was at a meet a few years back.

If they're only 18 watts, 18 ga. would do it. I'd go 14 just because I hate that super thin crap, and a 5 amp fuse should be plenty.

What's the build quality like? I don't expect a whole lot for $20 but I don't want to waste the money and time putting them in and wiring them up if they're not great and/or will leak after the first rainstorm.

They seem solid. They've been through the carwash twice no problem

Mike, I don't have those specifically but I have something just like them. They are well built but the water getting in the cheap Chinese lights has been a problem to some people. I am going to use them as bed lights in the cubbies. I also have a tonneau cover so water is not an issue for me. As for those lights I say give them a shot, they have good reviews and they are cheap enough. Just make sure you get the light pattern you are looking for. The ones I posted are flood beams so they will go out wide but not far. Great for my application

Just caulk them before you put them on and they won't leak. A bead around the front cover and some where the plug goes in and you'll be all set. If you're just using them for backup lights, they'll be fine. If you want better driving to spot lights, you might want to spend a bit more and get a better quality light.

    They run between 35-60$
I had them on my wish list for two months and opened Amazon up one day and they were cheap! I got 4 shipped to my door for 52$
Search nite bruiser led lights and throw them I your wish list and wait for the price to hit rock bottom
