Not with the black. Softens the aggressive lines in the front a bit. I heard black won't be available in the 2016 Runner TRD Pro. White, Gray and Quicksand are supposedly the new Pro colors. At least the 4Runner. Not sure how solid the info is but... And yes I am looking for any excuse to show off my new Yota. Thanks for the opening.

What your thoughts on the 4Runner trail vs the sr5 4x4?

The Trail has KDSS which gives it a better ride onroad and is more capable offroad. It has more features and should have a better resale value.

The guys with the 4runners do they have enough power? My 2010 Tacoma has lost of get up.

The trail can be had with or without kdss but most think its a good option. I used to think the 5th gen 4runner was ugly but the look grows on you. There is a 5th gen picture thread on t4r that has some very nice looking rigs in it even in stock form.

In Canada KDSS is Standard, sorry I forgot it was a option in the USA. It is worth it.

For hating the 3rd gen SOOO much, you sure do spend A LOT of time making sure people know your opinions on every single 3rd gen thread there is. We get that you hate it, now stop wasting your time letting us know in every thread. I guess you've got nothing better to do huh? Lol..

I'd wait for the 3rd gen. They will be the same body style for 7 years. We will all have one eventually. If you don't like it now.....you will. Everything looks better with personal touch, plate bumpers, grill, ect....
    Just my opinion.

When the 3rd gen starts showing up on the road 2nd gen will look dated.

ignore all of the haters, go with 16. The 15 & down is 12 year old technology. The suspension has been band-aided up since 2011 & recalled from 2005 to 2010. Had an 05 & an 09. Both suspensions snapped. Don't get me wrong, still love-em, in line for a 2016. Just my 2 cents. With all the up dates & better fuel economy I'd wait for the 16

Obviously you cant read. The OP asked for opinions on trading to a 3rd gen, I gave an honest opinion, and if you read any of my posts I dont hate I point out the obvious that alot of you circle jerk 3rd guys refuse to. I like alot of things about the 3rd gen, but there are alot of dislikes too, just like with the 2nd gen. I work in an office and am a weather forecaster nice weather, time on my hands, but am also a full time student. Its funny how butt hurt some of you guys get.

You're so right. In fact TRD already has Tacoma Floss developed, and ready to ship.
