    Not enough...

This looks amazing, but this is leather. Beige fabric would get fucked up in no time. I hade a VW Jetta with beige fabric and no matter how good of a care I took over the damn thing, it just got fucking nasty. Can't imagine having something like that in a truck.

Had similar color interior in my X3. It was called Terra Cotta. Hands down my favorite interior, but the wood trim got destroyed by having a dog that goes to the beach every day.

Jack, I want you to paint me like one of your French girls.

Yeah, biege cloth would get screwed up pretty quick....leather or "gasp" vinyl would be ok...IIRC we had a beige vinyl bench seat in our old F350 dump truck, it held up pretty well, and that thing never got washed.

Seems like a lot of manufactures are going with some sort of a Terra Cotta these days. Like in the high end Tundra 1792.

I really like this natural brown look too...not sure if it would work in a Taco, but in a FJ fa' sha'.

Approach angle for starters. Maneuverability in tight quarters second.

What is the approach angle on the 3rd gen compared to the 2nd gen?

Checked the 2016 out in Cochrane, AB this afternoon. It's a nice truck, and I echo what others have said regarding it looking better in person than in photos. The interior's definitely a bit of an upgrade on the current gen for the most part. The colour matched trim in the inferno is tacky and the new cupholder holster system in the center is goofy, but overall the materials feel decent.

All in all, very similar to the current truck in my mind. The dimensions didn't feel appreciably different and a great deal has remained the same (good thing in my mind). Barring some very impressive engine specs, I didn't see a lot there that would warrant an upgrade for someone who already owns a Tacoma that is 5ish years old or less.

Don't know, but the profile shots from both vehicles show me that the front of the 3rd gen sticks out farther and hangs lower than the 2nd gen. I could be wrong. But that how it looks.

I've said before that people need to drive it. If it's got a great ride and the engine and transmission are an upgrade that we are hoping for, I think it could sway a lot of people that may be turned off by the looks. And on top of that, all it could take is for someone to mod it a little and give it a whole new complexion.

Don't criticize the cuisine before it is served. There will be plenty of time to hate it, if necessary, when it actually arrives.

Maybe it's just the air dam in the front for MPGs?

For me the it's the opposite. It "looks" like the front end of the 3rd gen approach angle has less of a over hang and the rear is like the front with less overhang. But then again it is easy to photoshop pictures to distort the image. I'll wait for the full reviews from the truck mags, TW, and my own personal up and close inspection

Has anyone seen the interior for the manual transmission? The pic I saw it looks like there are no cup holders in the middle. That would be kind of annoying.

You're right. No need to jump the gun. Just don't like what I'm seeing so far.:D

Found better shots directly from the side of both gens. Shows more of what I'm concerned about. With the other two I posted, the third gen pic was shot at a much lower angle.

Seems like everyone except OZ is forgetting all those ugly plastic extentions are for new pedestrian safety regulation. They should have used removal memory foam pillows for the front bumper when you drive in the city.

Maybe I'm the odd one here, but my beige interior (leather/vinyl) in my F-250 has remained near pristine. The only exception is where my jeans over time have stained the seat from getting in and out, and even then that is hardly that bad. My interior still looks dang near brand new (02).
I hunt, fish, and have worked in the family farm with that truck. I've been lazy in the past with caring about if I have mud or snow on my boots/clothing (heck even blood). And the interior still looks that nice.

I will say that no dogs step in my truck and hauling children is kept to a minimum. I also don't give drunk friends rides.

I'm not sure why people are concerned about beige interiors getting trashed. What are you doing in your truck? Or probably more the issue, what are you not doing (cleaning)?

I love natural tones like browns. Black I just have a hard time getting behind.

Same here with the beige or stone color cloth in my 04 Tundra it shows very little dirt or dust. It's really no different than exterior colors showing dirt where beiges and tans show the least dirt with black being the worst showing everything. I will never buy a black vehicle for this reason and now having a grey Jeep with black interior never black interior again.

Leather/vinyl keeps looking good for awhile. Cloth not so much, at least under my thumb...trucks are meant to be used and abused. I rarely wash mine. Not a fan of black either, grey interiors seem to work the best for me. I am liking that darker grey Toyota is using on the '16. Also liked the blue I had in my '92.
