Hard to believe it's the body mounts, but I'll check that out. Have never checked those... :notsure:

Hmmmm so suspension unloaded. LCA bushings perhaps. No, then your alignment would be wonky. Im gonna point towards your steering rack

I did notice my lca joints have a tiny leak. Hopefully it's not them. I've been leaning towards my rack as well but want to find a way to pinpoint it.

Get a buddy, have them turn the wheel back and forth, and sit under the truck until you can pinpoint the sound.

That's what I did when I took the video, but it sounds like it coming from everywhere! :goingcrazy:

On a side note, I found out the hard way that it's hard to turn a wrench with a week old dislocated middle finger! :censored:

Hey man, I think that sounds is one of the steering components. My truck made that sound when one of my tie rods was going bad. Check the boots and see if anything got under them or if theres a crack anywhere.

Also are you rocking 35s or 37s I cant find it in your thread haha. I'm debating between 305s and 315s wanna buy them today=D

    Shit man, I wish I had 35s or 37s! Haha I'm on 295/75/16. Something like 33.4. Essentially a "true" 33.

Yeah I'm leaning towards something steering related as well. Bother tie rods loozed good, bUT ill check again..i rinsed off the suspension yesterday and now the noise is gone again :notsure:

After speaking with my mechanic, we've come to the conclusion that its a water hungry midget hooker. It's the only explanation...

You linked my question on page 1, nevermind haha... I ordered a new snip from McMaster Carr today so I'll be finishing the fenders tuesday night. Dremel was a bastard on one of my flares so its not as pretty as yours, I actually think I may have to order a new flare. I may have broken 1 too many tabs to keep my flare on

    I did what?

Sorry to hear about the flares. If you buy new ones, try the jigsaw on them and practice on the old ones. How did the fenders come out? Use the dremel as well?

Used a dremel on the flares, came out fine oddly enough. I used the one I need to replace as practice, had the dremel jump once but it still looks good. The fenders I used snips to start it but I cant get the cut rights. I cut my thumb open last month and still cant use it right so snips arent working. When I get the burr free edge cutter I'll finish them up (This is the thing Tyler used to cut my rear fenders when he installed my rear bumper). Should look good and glad I used your posts as reference haha. Let me find out what size the hole is on the kings. I may be bugging you to borrow that spanner.

It's hard to do perfectly, that's for sure! I'm still surprised how well my fenders came out with the angle grinder. Far from perfect but good enough .haha. once you throw some of that rubber edging on it you'll never notice the flaws.

Just let me know if you want to borrow the spanner.

I'm hoping that's what it is as well. I rinsed everything off on Friday and added a little triflow. No noise thusfar. Being by the ocean I think I should rinse shit off more often anyways, so hopefully I can stop thinking about it.

really wanting 295s next, was hoping to get away with a CMC and just trimming the bottom of the fender... was it a must to cut the full 1.75" off the entire fender?

    Thanks man!

The fenders definitely need to be trimmed, no doubt about that. How much is a different story. With these tires and where my bumps are set, I could have probably got away with less. But I wanted extra room just in case I got different tires (tire manufactures all differ in actual sizes even though they are labeled the same) and for the extreme case where my super bumps compress completely flat. Can't really cycle the suspension for cases like that, so I just added some cushion.

Ive got 3/4'' spacers on my 4.5'' BS wheels. So that will play into how much you have to cut as well.

Just get em, cycle it, and cut where needed!! :)

I'll snap some pictures next time I have the coilovers off and cycle it.

Thanks man! yeah i think ill just screw it and figure it out when i get them... now to decide ko2's vs at2's. They will be on SCS f5s with 3.5" BS so pretty similar to your setup.
