Too poor to list anything interesting.

I've decided to go with super winch. Unless I get a windfall and then can go with Warn bling.

Had mine for about 18 months. Worked great and never had as issue with it. Buying another with synthetic rope very soon.

    Good info right there.

Thank you for the link. Interesting results; I'm a little surprised (or maybe not considering bias usually found in these sort of comparisons) Warn won first place considering its performance was subpar compared with a few other winches tested. The performance score was outweighed by its "soft" score; its nice that the instruction manual was considered the best but that won't matter a hill of beans if the winch itself isn't the most durable, especially at $1,500. Seems the value for cost is almost prohibitive... Unless I'm missing something here.

Why buy another when you can buy just the synthetic line?

I'll leave it with @357sig so he can bring it. IF I come out, it'll be late afternoon.

I have a meter. It's easy peasy. Takes about 10 minutes once you're in an open area.

Where are you working? Nice climate controlled garage, or heat-infested car port?

Well, not that it matters (...at all...) but I'm out. Making y'awl suffer through what happens to me in the summer heat would not be pleasant, pretty, or desired. :D
