Pre Wired Towing Wires

    2009 Toyota Tacoma 4 Door SR5
    Firestone Air Ride
    I'm gearing up my 2009 Toyota Tacoma SR5 (No TRD) for some towing. Added Firestone Air Ride, bought a Weight Distribution Hitch, and now I'm buying the Brake controller.

    Are there any Towing lights/brakes wires pre wired in the SR5 truck? Are they live? What will it take to make them live?

    I have heard before that there is a female plug above the parking brake (7 way plug) and possibly a plug around the spare tire.

    Also, after some investigating I noticed a towing relay missing in the fuse box behind the battery. I'm assuming that this would be included in the TRD version.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks canufixit. I also have that installed.

    I guess my real question is can i hook up a 7 pin and add a brake controller using the factory 5 pin female trailer plug located just beside the parking brake? Do i need i add the trailier relay that is missing?

    Remember that it is an sr5 with no TRD
