I have a 4x8 utility trailer that I want to do a few things to. 1st off is to replace the axle with a heavier duty version with the 6x5.5 hubs and flip it to mount under the springs . I know I need a custom axle because I plan to use factory Toyota wheels with 31x10.5's BFG's on them. I'll do the flip and see how it sits from there. :)

Yeah that's what I was thinking and replacing the springs at the same time. I just saw these leafs on etrailer. I believe they are a lot longer than my stock one's. Do you think that would help take some of the bounce out of it?

i had those springs on my trailer before, it bounced off road a lot. hard to get rid of the bounce with a single axel trailer with those springs having 1/4" of play. only way i got rid of it is i put 1st gen leafs on with airbags i got 6" of travel it eats up rocks an ruts like nothing now
