First time detailing the new Taco. Learned a lot from reading this forum both from suggestions here and references to other sites. Wash with Gold Class and use Collinite 845. I did not clay but probably should have done so. I'll clay during my fall waxing. Came out pretty well for a rookie.

    Nice. Good job.
I like the way the MGM changes with the weather. The other day mine looked green because of a storm coming in and then another day looked black right after washing and sealing it.

    Did it by hand.
Need to get some tire cleaner though.
Curious to see how it goes in the snow. Will probably run these tires this winter just to see but will keep the advice in the back pocket about different tires. Hate the thought of messing it up with snow and salt.....

Clay Bared my Pro at the 1st wax. Very little residue came off so maybe could have passed on doing the clay treatment. The tires you have are nothing to brag about, but I had the same ones on the 17's I got for my Tundra and they did OK in the snow and wet. Biggest issue I had with them was that they "squealed" when going over painted lines as they got older. Ran them until they were bald and then put real tires on the truck. If you mainly street drive the truck they will do OK. Have had both the Crappy BFG stock tires and the Bridgestones....they are OEM tires, they will do OK, just nothing to brag about.
