Ok, so I got an ear into a company that could sell better mounting parts to get the vw motor to mount to my w56 tranny.. but they said their engine mounts, adapter plate etc etc. require me to get a new transmission crossmember, a longer driveshaft from the v6 model and move the tranny forward by 3 inches.. now how would that work for the shifter columns for the gearbox and then transfer case shifter?
