Now that mag grey looks sick. How can there not be more up close pictures like this... Or a direct site with a butt load of high quality pictures?

That's close, but it was a few days older. That is a very recent photo. The one I saw was directly from the side where that is in front a little. It made it look hideous. That one looks ok...

I have been wondering the same thing. What's with the tiny selection of photos from these events?

I would love it if Toyota themselves would provide an alloy wheel for the SR5.

Other way around, what OR offers that Sport does not is the locking rear diff and supposedly stiffer OR suspension. The push button is supposedly in everything. The sunroof looks to be DC only and part of the performance and technology package.

I hope that is true about the sunroof being an option. I DON'T WANT A SUNROOF ON MY OFF ROAD

Well that's my point.... With all of that the OR seems like a better value for $ if it's only $1,000-$2,000 more than sport.

The Sport has always been a waste of money. It's a street machine. It's made to get more money out of people who are going to drive them on the street and highways. It's got a hood scoop, bigger wheels, and TRD stickers. That's what people want and they will pay more for it.

Your sport isn't dropping jaws on the highway anymore. No one cares about them now

The push button start isn't in every model. And it is not offered with the manual transmission. The TRD models with automatic and the Limited.

funny :) you keep thinking Toyota is catering to you or your idea. the sport caters to what the wife wants and guess what, between the sport and the limited that is what is selling and what Toyota is concerned about, not your 1% that want a OR.

just be glad they still make a OR for those 1%.

Not everybody buys a Tacoma to go offroading. Which is why they sell different trim levels. Why buy all of the extra 4X4 goodies if you have no intention of using them. Thats why people buy the Sport model.

Agreed. Trucks have a multitude of purposes and off-roading is just one.

I don't haul trailers and junk in my bed off-road. Probably wouldn't be a wise decision on my part to try.

Overall I don't like the new gen 3 styling but like others have said, it is growing on me. I will get used to it and it will eventually look good. I do think Sweers must have been smoking something when was sitting at his computer desk.
