Yea, assault didn't do anything for me. Neither does C4 unless I take 3 scoops. ONs pre did for the first couple days, then I got nothing. Pre Jym is the best I've had. Gonna try the Jym protein too, I think.

    x2 on the prejym

it bugs me when supps try to use CAS terminology to make their supp sound moar sciencer

read the ingredients for the pre zach posted, 1st up is "1,3,7 trimethylxanthene"
    Fuck you, that's "caffeine"

also looked into rawolfia vomitoria, since I've seen it in some things

can't find shit about it in the literature besides the possibility for it to be used as a novel anti-psychotic

apparently it can have 2,6 dimethoxybenzoquinone in it too, though I haven't been able to find much more out about it

    benzoquinones kill you

however, they're saying theyre using it to extract rawolscine, which literature says "maybe kinda sorta might have something to do with weight loss" so there's that

    edit:
didn't mean to shit on that pre zach
just random terminology and random ingredients in pre's bug the fuck out of me

All that is from Stimul8? I told y'all that shit is wild! I took it one time and will never again lol. I literally laid on the gym floor because I thought I was going to have a heart attack. It did have me going, though. I looked like a fucking crackhead.

Chemistry is nowhere near my area of expertise, but it does bug me when companies try to make their shit sound better, throwing around words like "matrix", "blend", etc. I try to look at everything I ingest. I was reading about the new C4 Ripped and it's 'C4 Ripped Blend' consists of L-Carnitine Tartrate, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Cayenne fruit extract, & Coleus forskohlii root extract lol. The 'Explosive Energy Blend' was N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, Caffeine Anhydrous, and Velvet Beanseed extract.

Companies can sell more product using "cool" terms, opposed to bean extracts lol

they don't say how much of what is in there, but it looks like there's a fuckton of caffeine, some beta alanine, and some randomy bs lol

I used UN animal rage (in pill form) it was the best I ever used...but I could only take it when working out in the morning since it was impossible to sleep after. It's no longer available in pill form and the reviews say the powder doesn't work the same way...I got it as an add on at BB.com for a 1$ for 44 servings when they tried to clear the shelves

    Holy fuck...jelly

I did Upper-A yesterday and I did biceps with a friend whose been lifting for around 20 years; he's a beast. His arms are like 20"-21" and he can easily rep 405 like it's nothing. Anyway, we did drop sets of standing dumbbell curls, super set with shrugs. I started at 60 lb dumbbells and did 6 curls and 10 shrugs all the way down from 55, 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15 lb dumbbells...I thought my arms were gonna fall off

I've been wanting to try the ON Amino Energy too, then I found a hodgetwin video of youtube last night and they said for what you get and a little bit of caffeine you mide as well just go buy you a month supply of caffeine pills for $10. They said to save your money. That video was I think 3 years old so I don't know if ON changed anything or not.

I emailed bb.com a coue weeks ago asking about ON amino energy and BSN aminoX which I've heard a lot of people like. This is the response I got

The two products you asked about are primarily Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA's) and they support your recovery and can provide energy during your workouts. Both products are similar, but there are a few differences to note. To help you understand BCAA's, and other amino acids, here is a great article that explains the science and benefits behind supplementing with BCAA's: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/aminos-are-essential-lift-longer-and-grow-stronger-with-bcaas.html

Beyond the caffeine in Amino Energy, there are some other differences to note. AminoX provides a few extra amino acids, like L-Citruline and L-Alanine, but otherwise it is mostly BCAA's. Amino Energy however includes more variety of amino acids that can help with recovery, promote blood flow, and improve energy. The AminoX is a great choice if you're just wanting BCAA's and not much else. But the Amino Energy would be a solid option if you need extra energy and don't want to take a separate pre-workout product.

    2nd part of email is

As far as the AminoX and the Amino energy if you want something that has a little bit of I would go with the Amino energy by Optimum Nutrition. The reason that I say that is because the AminoX does not have any energy factor to it. It just has amino acids and vitamins, now you can feel some energy from it because it is a really good product for hydration and when you are hydrated you will feel natural energy. And after doing some research I am able to see that the Amino energy has 160 mg of caffeine in it but that is for 2 scoops. You can always take only 1 scoop and just put it in less water that way you still get the effects of the product without compromising the flavor at all.
