I'm hoping all goes well with my Mt. Cayley's maiden voyage this month. I'm a bit confused on permits and such around the GC but I'm going for it. Just keeping my head low and cruising along and hopefully I have all the correct permits!

So I have a Mombasa RTT (vintage $350 CL, and in great shape) but the cover zipper is fucked and its got some tar stains (dude said it was from something in his garage). It's the same size as the CVT Mt Shasta, you think CVT would be able to replace the cover with one of theirs?

I don't think i have pics, but ill post some in the morning. It zips on 3 sides, the side opposite of the ladder is fixed to the tent base.

Sounds just like my 1 year old Mt. Shasta.

Here are pictures of how mine attaches...

Yup, just like that. That cover could work out good.

I would think as long at the dimensions (L, W & H) are close to the CVT's and the little channel in the base for the zippers to slide into are the same then it should work. Maybe take a couple of pictures and shoot them to Bobby to get his opinion
