    Hey,

I'm new to TacomaWorld and wanted to say hello and make an intro. I just purchased my first Toyota Tacoma, though my first car was a 1987 4Runner 4x4 SR5. Have always missed that truck and still have dreams of driving it again. Totaled in a head-on wreck at the end of High School. Not my fault, but never to be replaced. I drove a 1994 MazdaRanger 4x4 for 8 years then moved to California and bought my 05 Accord. Married and home-owning now, the car wasn't cutting it for now or the future. I drove back to MT and sold my car (long story, but it worked out well) and picked up the taco. SO... what it is.

1700 Miles (not a typ0) - Toyota Certified Used 2015 Tacoma Short Bed Double Cab 4x4 w/ Off Road Package. Still has full New Car stuff (toyotacare, b2b warranty, xm, etc) and benefits of Toyota Certified Used (7yrs 100,000mi Powertrain Warranty, Roadside Assistance). Got a sweet deal on a new truck at a barely used price. [IMG]

Just got it home to California a few days ago and I'm grabbing a few accessories for now. A cargo net, plug for trailer hitch, divider for center armrest console, trd grille badge. Have one big question about mounting stuff. I'd like to put my mini-ipad somewhere in the center of the car, but preferably not on the dash or higher. Every site and thread I find has the owner replacing the factory unit with the ipad, which I don't plan on doing. I need it removable and somewhat near the 12v switches.

Planning on adding a topper at some point in the near future, but haven't done enough research yet. May increase tire size and/or lift, but that won't be for any time soon.. at least until the brand new treads are done. I've looked at that k&n cold air intake and it seems harmless, but want further opinions and to see other options for a bit more HP and Torque. Would be interested in adding a small amp and perhaps very small subwoofer to the taco, but that's not a priority in my life anymore and would def keep most storage space if it's a direct trade-off (and I don't have a topper yet).

I ramble and talk a bit, but lurk for the mostpart. Hello and I'm here!!IMG_0379.jpg

Picked up the SnugTop Rebel topper for it this weekend. Nothing fancy, but does the job.

I'll take another pic with light tomorrow, but here's the matched one. Also got the Toyota cargo net (stretched it between 2 of my d rings across the rear), added a Toyota trailer plug cap, Armrest storage divider, (totally fake) trd shorty antenna, and have been decking out the back seat storage with Extension Cords, 110 Accessories and Tools.

Anyone have a good way to mount a full-size maglite in the cab? or a mini ipad??

Also added a perfect match Matchbox version of my old 4runner to the dash. Red w/ Gold stripes.
