I just bought a '15 Tacoma, TRD Off-road, extended cab, love it so far, but only 300 miles on it. I plan to keep for a long time. I don't do a lot of off-road, 4WD, but wanted to plan for the unexpected so went for what I thought is a good, strong, basic truck. I've had Toyota p/u many years ago with great success and have driven the 4-Runner, 3L, turbo diesel, and Land Cruiser wagon with straight 6, diesel, both overseas. Enjoyed their capabilities and ruggedness.
