I'm a newbie here and just getting into the Tacoma world. Just bought a 2011 Prerunner Club Cab TRD and enjoying it. I know the mods will be coming. What are some of the basic mods to get started. 1st easy mods were Husky mats and extra "d" rings in the bed. My dirt bike will be back there a lot!. Thanks and I look forward to the Tacoma world.

Did you get the white faced gauges? Late 2011s got them. They're also exempt from the leaf recall because they added a clip to the springs.

Oddly, I found mine had the 2012+ steering wheel audio control wiring too. Seems they started using some subtle 2012 parts half way through the model year.

Congrats on the new Taco! Some easy mods include the mag light holder, extra bed rail tie downs, and I personally enjoy my weather tech in channel rain guards.

JS312, no, black gauges. I checked for the leaf recall and it didn't show on my VIN. Hmmm? Car Fax did show a TPMS(tire pressure monitor system) recall but the dealer said it didn't apply to mine. I thought that was odd.

Mine does have the steering wheel audio controls.

    Thanks for all the "welcomes"!
