Anyone regret going long bed or short bed?

Same here, I had a long bed Ram for a number of years. LOVED the bed. Hated the big bulky truck.

You can live with the 5' bed, As someone said short bed or shorter bed..its all the same.

 

No regrets , I got the DCLB FTMFW

 

The short bed looks dumb. Stick with the longbed

 

I look at box length like I look at cab space and trailers.....You can never have too much room/space. I would only consider SB if I was hard core off road wheeling

Right on. I'm almost always riding a 9ft.+ when I go out so... angling it in the bed is the route I got used to taking.

 

I've seen those. Though about it, but having a DCLB and adding that to the tow hitch, screw the trail limo, now I'm a land yacht!

I saw that on another thread. What do you have under the rear? Airbags? HD springs?

 

Bought the long bed 5 months ago - no regrets at all - the extra bed length is definitely worth having for me. It's not that much harder to park or maneuver. One thing to note - the long bed will not fit in my garage, but that's mostly my own fault - if I'd clean the junk out in FRONT of the trucks nose, I can get it in, albeit a fairly tight squeeze.

If you use your truck daily to haul stuff for a living, no way should you even consider a short bed.

Short beds look pretty cool, but they're not very practical if you want to haul anything back there. Had a short bed, now I have a long bed. Really digging the long bed.
