06 tacoma acess cab 2wd 2.7 5 speed

hi all new to the forum had my tacoma for 8 yrs now and have alot of miles having some issues hopefing to find some good answers so any ways my name is James I have a 06 tacoma access cab 2.7 5 speed 2wd with 249,000 miles and it has started burning alot of oil. any advice i will post again in the correct forum as well thanks.
