I need help here. Just put a lift on my 2008 sport. Did it myself.. two struts with coils and a AAL. Went to get a alignment and they cant get the cambers off. They said they need to cut the bolts out and torch the bushings. I found online I can get all 4 camber washers with bolts and new bushings for like $170.00 shipped to me. My questions is how hard will it be to cut the old ones out? What do I use? Im thinking a sawzaw will not do the trick. I'm not about to spend $1,000 for a shop to do this.

if you get the moog bushings, be advised that the front one will be slightly smaller than required which will produced the "clunk" noise many have reported here. I ended up putting two weld tacks on each side so they could stay put. My bushings and bolts were frozen. What I did, was that after loosing up the nut, I positioned flushed with the end of the bolt and went jihad on them with a sledge hammer till they gave up. If that does not work, I would recomend a reciprocal saw, but be careful not to cut the "ears" or LCA bracket.

What about spraying it with some penetrating oil (liquid Wrench or something similar). Let it sit overnight and try again. Wouldn't hurt.

I've heard great things about a 50 - 50 mix of automatic trans fluid and acetone. Never tried it myself but read an article where it proved to be much more effective than any commercially available product.

Seized cam bolts is a pretty common issue

If you have access to a torch you could try heating the bolt up red hot, let it cool completely and then try turning it.

Yeah I got some and have been soaking it in there for a couple days. Going to take it to a different shop and see what happens.

If you have the means, sure why not? FYI if you thought removing the bolts was hard, you would have had something else coming when trying to remove the old bushings, so I guess in your case, you made a smart move!

There are threads on the replacement LCA cam bolts and so far general consensus is fail

Use the stick ones and lube them prior to install

I use a bit of anti seize on almost every bolt. If I take a bolt off, 9 times out of 10 I'll dab some anti seize on the threads before I put it back. Especially on things that come on and off somewhat frequently like lug nuts, caliper bolts and brake pad slide pins. It's a very rare occurrence to break the head off a bolt trying to remove it if it was anti seized. Using even a little will help future disassemblies go very smoothly. Also sometimes you need some kind of thread lube just to achieve the proper tightening torque.

Those will be the moog (problem solver), more like "problem added". I noticed that the grease would loosen the bolts over time. I realized this a year after aligment when I had to do another job that required me to loosen up the LCA bolts; they were very loose. I ended up removing them completely, removed all the grease and re-torque again to specs.
